Originally built as ferry in 1948, in 1960 serving as an ocean liner. In '86-'89 used as a barracks ship in Oslo for asylum seekers in Norway under the name Fridtjof Nansen. In '89 she was rebuilt from the waterline up and given a modern cruise ship design.
