Extra info:
The Isaac Newton has very diverse features and allows in addition to the cable laying work more for various offshore projects.
This includes especially the burial, stabilization and ballasting in the laying of underwater pipelines , underwater cables and underwater umbilical cables.
In addition, facilities for seabed preparation in setting up are foundations for transformer and HVDC platforms and offshore projects in the oil and gas available.

In the "cable laying" mode, two drums are installed for the cables and the necessary auxiliary equipment.
A rotatable cable drum with 4,500 tons of cable capacitance is then below deck and 7,400 tons of cable capacitance on deck.

In the "stone filling" mode, two containers are installed for around 10,000 tonnes of rock, consisting of a 3,000-ton back-end loading system and a 7,000-ton capacity medium-handling system.
Each lifting device has a backhoe and a downpipe, so that the boulders up to 200 meters under water are in the right place and can be positioned.
